Lamborghini introduced the Urus S crossover: V8 engine and 666 hp With. under the hood

The new Urus S debuted just a few months after Lamborghini introduced the facelifted Urus. At the same time, the public was shown the top version of the Urus Performante crossover, and now the family has been replenished with the second version – Urus S. Moreover, the current novelty is also an update of the base model, which was introduced in 2017.

Externally, the Urus S differs from the base model with bumpers that are more similar to those found on the Performante, as well as a carbon fiber hood and new exhaust pipes. Inside – the same salon with changes in the level of decor and finishing materials, the choice of which has become wider.

To the delight of fans of the brand under the hood, the Lamborghini Urus S has the same 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the Performante version. That is, the power of 666 “horses” and the torque of 850 Nm remained the same. However, the company’s engineers reconfigured the exhaust system, which means that the Urus S engine should “sound” a little differently. The gearbox also remained the same. This is an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive with a Torsen center differential. Only the “spectacular” Ego driving mode has been added.

If you compare the Urus S and Performante, the main difference is the chassis. The novelty has it with air suspension, while the Performante has a spring suspension. The Urus S can hit 0-100 in 3.5 seconds, the Performante in 3.3 seconds.

The cost of Lamborghini Urus S in Europe is 195,500 euros (about 11 million rubles).
