Are Lana Del Rey and Lizzo at loggerheads? So it would seem, judging by a screenshot that portrays a back-and-forth between the two artists, who take offense with comments on social media.
Lizzo reportedly wrote: «I would like to see you again in the rankings» and Lana Del Rey would have replied: «I would like to see you on a treadmill». Lizzo, then, would have counterattacked: “I hope an alligator eats your butt” (referring to the recent marriage between Lana and Jeremy Dufrene, a nature guide specializing in alligator-spotting tours). Del Rey would have concluded the exchange like this: “You’re an expert at eating big.”
Social media users were very surprised by this unexpected feud and by the baseness of the words used, which range from denigrating the other’s career to body-shaming.
The longest-standing fans, however, did not doubt it even for a moment: this is fake news!
The reassurance comes from a note with contextual information on the post: «It’s a joke. Lana and Lizzo have never had this exchange.”
Also breaking the silence on the issue is Lana, one of those directly involved, not only denying the bizarre argument but saying she is rather confused by the affair.
The mastermind behind this bizarre story? The account DropPop who, on I don’t care. Let Lizzo go to hell and you too.”

If some followers seem to have grasped this rather contemptuous “irony” of the profile, known for its parodies on pop culture, many others distance themselves from it, underlining the danger of circulating such negative messages, also passing them off as thoughts of famous people with a strong media power who find themselves, without their knowledge, involved in dynamics that are also harmful to their image.
It is a very short step from artificial intelligence to artificial stupidity.
Because we’re all crazy about Lana Del Rey
