Lana Del Rey’s unreleased song is released in new episode of “Euphoria”

series fans “Euphoria” won a surprise this Monday (17). In the teaser trailer for the third episode, released by the show’s social networks last night, an unreleased song by Lana Del Rey can be heard.

The song still doesn’t have a title, but, because of the excerpt of the lyrics present in the video, it has been called “Watercolor Eyes”. The expectation is that the song will be part of the soundtrack of the new episode, which will air next Sunday (23). It is also expected to be officially released by the singer-songwriter on their platforms.

Lana released two albums in 2021, “Chemtrails over the Country Club” and “Blue Banisters”. The former peaked at number two on the Billboard 2000, which lists the best-selling albums each week; while the second received positive reviews, which highlighted the maturing of the 36-year-old songwriter.

“Euphoria” returned to the air with its second season this month, following up on the success it caused when it premiered in 2019. The first chapter of this new season was watched by 2.4 million viewers, according to a WarnerMedia report released last week.

The production, starring zendaya, follows the dramas of a group of young people and portrays in a raw way issues such as sexuality, drug use and mental health. The soundtrack is one of the highlights of the work, and has already featured songs by artists such as Arcade Fire, Solange, Billie Eilish and Madonna. In addition to Lana Del Rey, the composer Labrinth had previously collaborated with unreleased songs for the series. Watch below:
