A landslide left at least one dead person, two wounds and 28 missing so far in Sichuan, southwest of China, on Saturday (8).
Chinese state television, CCTV, said on Monday that rescue operations are under days after the accident.
Images of drones transmitted by the station showed the landslide, with more than one kilometer of affected land.
Rescue teams and excavators conducted search operations on site, where homes collapsed in part buried in fallen stones and mud.
Volunteers were also seen in neighboring areas cooking meals for emergency teams.
Preliminary evaluations showed that the last case happened due to heavy rainfall and local geological conditions, according to CCTV citing geology experts.
