Sales of the Changan Uni-K crossover in Russia are delayed: according to the Chinese Automobiles publication, now the start of sales of the new model is scheduled for March-April 2022.
Interestingly, at the end of last year, Uni-K cars already appeared at some Changan dealers in Russia. Some even began to accept pre-orders at a price of 2.7 to 3.5 million rubles.
At first, the company planned to exhibit demonstration samples in car dealerships in December and launch pre-orders. But given the general situation on the market and the high hype around the model, in the end it was decided to abandon this scheme in favor of the usual sales “from the warehouse”, and not to queue.

The dimensions of the car are 4856 x 1948 x 1700 mm with a wheelbase of 2890 mm. The clearance of the crossover is different for the front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions and is 173 and 182 mm, respectively. The Changan Uni-K is powered by a proprietary Blue Whale engine. A 2.0-liter turbo engine can run on 92-octane gasoline, its power is 226 hp. at 380 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Users will have access to three driving modes (Standard, Sport and Eco).
The car received leather upholstery, electric drive and ventilation of the front seats, a panoramic roof, a Sony audio system with fourteen speakers, as well as various driver assistance systems.
It is worth noting that in China the car went on sale only at the beginning of this year.
