The EQS will go on sale in the US this fall, and the basic version of the EQS 450+ is priced at $ 103,360. And that’s not including the $ 7,500 federal subsidy. The second option, EQS 580 4MATIC, is more expensive – $ 126,360. By comparison, the US gasoline S-Class starts at $ 112,150, with no subsidies.

The power of the single-engine version of the EQS (that is, the basic EQS 450+) is 329 hp, the power plant of the all-wheel drive version (EQS 580 4MATIC) is 516 hp. The claimed acceleration time to 100 km / h is about 4 s, the maximum speed is limited at around 210 km / h. The cars are equipped with traction batteries with a capacity of 90 and 107.7 kWh, in the second case, the declared mileage on one charge is 770 km (according to the WLTP cycle, in reality it will be less). In both cases, the proprietary multimedia system MBUX is provided, but the screen diagonal in the EQS 450+ is 12.8 inches, and in the EQS 580 4MATIC, a 56-inch “hyperscreen” is installed.
