Famed Chinese automaker Chery has begun road testing the Tiggo 8 Plus rechargeable hybrid crossover.
Chery announced a hybrid version of the Tiggo 8 Plus in February this year, and now we have a photo of the car next to the charging station. In this case, the battery charging door is located on the left front fender of the vehicle.
Initially, Chery plans to produce about 75,000 hybrid vehicles. Sources say that such a car will consume only 1.3 fuel per 100 kilometers.
In Russia, the Tiggo 8 Pro gasoline crossover was recently presented, which in the maximum configuration costs 2 million rubles. This is the Prestige version with a 2-liter turbo engine producing 170 hp. and CVT9 variant.
