Cryptocurrency exchange Bitso announced the reduction of more than 80 people. Considering that the team of the Latin American site currently employs about 700 people, the staff reduction is more than 10%.
At the moment, the clients of the Bitso platform are more than 4 million citizens of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. At the same time, the exchange occupies one of the leading positions in Brazil.

Interestingly, the cryptocurrency exchange website still lists more than 60 jobs in various fields. According to the company, the management needs to “rethink the necessary skills of employees” to continue development of the site. At the same time, there are no reports of any difficulties in attracting investments.
Recall that the Bitso cryptocurrency exchange entered the Colombian market not so long ago – the company opened a representative office in this country only in February of this year.
