Latin Grammy: Ana Castela cries upon receiving the award 2 days before turning 21

The singer Ana Castela 20, won the category of Best Country Music Album node Latin Grammy 2024, put International Boiadeira (Live).

The country girl, who celebrates her birthday next day November 16 was thrilled to win the first Grammy of her career, which was presented by the singer Gloria Groove.

“I’m Ana Castela and I’m from Brazil, and I’m very very happy to be here. I want to thank my mother, my father, Jesus Christ and all the people who work with me”, said the artist.

“I want to thank my brother, my friend, my father, Rodolfo, thank you very much to everyone who is here. This is Brazil”, concluded Ana Castela.

Paraíso Particular (Ao Vivo), by Gusttavo Lima, Cintilante (Ao Vivo), by Simone Mendes, Raiz Goiânia (Ao Vivo), by Lauana Prado and Luan City 2.0 (Ao Vivo), by Luan Santana, were the other artists who competed with Ana Castela.

THE Latin Recording Academy is announcing the winners of the 25th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards this Thursday (14), in a ceremony at the Miami Beach Convention Center, in the United States.

The event features performances by Brazilians Anita , Tiago Iorc , Alok , Simone Mendes and John .

The ceremony is divided into two parts. The first of them, called Première, started at 3 pm (Brasília time) and is broadcast on the official platforms of the Academia Latina e Gravação. It is where most of the Latin Grammy awards are awarded, including the categories dedicated exclusively to Brazilian artists.

The main Latin Grammy ceremony itself will begin at 10pm (Brasília time) and is preceded by an hour of pre-show. In Brazil, the broadcast is carried out by the BIS channel and Globoplay.

The voice of “Engage” and “Bellakeo” and Xande de Pilares are the only ones national artists who compete in general categories of the award. She is nominated in the category of Record of the Year with “Mil Veces” and Xande de Pilares fights for the trophy Album of the Year with “Xande sings Caetano”.
