The 23rd edition of the Latin Grammys takes place this Thursday (17), at 10 pm [horário de Brasília], in Las Vegas, United States. 53 categories involving recordings released between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022 will be awarded.

The singer Anita is one of the presenters of the event, alongside Luis Fonsi 🇧🇷 Laura Pausini and Thalia 🇧🇷 In addition, she is the only Brazilian to compete in one of the main categories of the night, “Recording of the Year”, with the hit “To involve” as well as Best Reggaeton Performance.

The awards will feature a series of concerts by big names in music, such as: Christina Aguilera 🇧🇷 marc anthony 🇧🇷 john legend 🇧🇷 Rosalía and more.

Among the Brazilians competing for the award, the posthumous nomination of Marília Mendonça with Maiara and Maraisa per “Missers 35%” in the category of “Best Sertaneja Music Album”. The trio competes with Chitãozinho & Xororó 🇧🇷 Gabeu 🇧🇷 Lauana Prado and Matheus & Kauan 🇧🇷

Caetano Veloso, Criolo, Gilsons, Jão, Lagum, Luísa Sonza, Ludmilla and Marina Sena and more compete in categories of recordings in the Portuguese language.
