Laura Pausini has Covid: “There was something wrong”

It all started on the evening of May 14, when, during the Eurovision Song Contest grand final, Laura Pausini was absent at the time of the counting of the votes, alarming the fans. Half an hour and Laura was back on stage, although not as fit as one would have expected of her. «During this final I had a drop in pressure and for this reason I had to stop for about twenty minutes on the advice of the doctors who helped me and whom I thank so much », wrote Laura Pausini on Instagram a few hours after the incident, blaming the stress. Three days later the news arrives that Laura is positive for Covid.

In fact, on Wednesday 18 May the singer herself shares a long post on social media in which she explains what happened: “Well yes, there was something wrong. I haven’t felt well since Saturday. I thought it was caused by the accumulated fatigue, but it wasn’t. I have just discovered that I am positive at Covid and for this reason I am isolated and cannot travel, ”wrote Laura, expressing her regret for not being able to perform in America as scheduled. «I am very sorry not to be able to perform at Love a la Music this weekend. I had prepared a very special show and was looking forward to seeing my fans in Florida. Now I just need to heal again and look for new opportunities to reunite in America again. ‘
