It could only be presented on the stage of Renaissance Awards the new Lavazza Calendar: a calendar with a clear mission – «I can change the world» – which is the same as the first international prizes dedicated to young world leaders in the field of sustainability, social as well as environmental, just awarded among the wonders of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.

Among the winners, the activist nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize Amanda Nguyen who is the founder of Rise, association that cares for women survivors of sexual violence, and theItalian Alessio Genovese, for his Funkino project for migrants: young people who are showing that with their ideas a new Renaissance is already possible.

Just like the «Artivists» of the Lavazza 2022 Calendar, conceived and created as always under the creative direction ofArmando Testa agency, which contains the portraits of a giant of cinema, three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki. They are images of outsiders who through art every day they try to change the world. They are all different in age, culture, geographical origin, but all with stories of great power: from Saype, pioneer of land art with his monumental works for the protection of the planet and social cohesion a Ben Harper committed against social inequalities and in raising awareness of the effects of the climate crisis, up to the jewelry designer Shilpa Yarlagadda which promotes and supports female empowerment.

To underline the link between the prize and the own calendar Ben Harper and Shilpa Yarlagadda, protagonists of both projects: the songwriter was among the stars who presented the young winners during the awards event, also hosted virtually in the marvelous rooms of Palazzo Vecchio with a poetic augmented reality film produced by the award-winning Pulse Films and directed by the Grammy nominee, Giorgio Testi. The designer, on the other hand, is official tutor of the awarded Young Leaders and was among the protagonists of the event in Florence, on stage with Francesca Lavazza, member of the Lavazza Group board e Livia Firth, Creative Director of Eco Age, the international agency for the development of sustainable business strategies that promoted and organized the Renaissance Awards.
