Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov continues to insist on provocative Russian rhetoric, stating that “for eight years the West has been reinforcing Kiev’s reluctance to implement the Minsk agreements by pushing for a military solution,” the Russian news agency Novosti reported.
“Western countries have in fact reinforced the complete reluctance of the Ukrainian regimes to implement the Minsk agreements for the last eight years, pushing for a military solution to the Donbas problem, and Kyiv itself was preparing a war against Donetsk and Luhansk, as we know. “now with absolute certainty from the internal military documents of the Ukrainian armed formations and the so-called national battalions,” said the Russian Foreign Minister during his speech at the conference “Digital International Relations 2022”.
Russia will continue to use Western information platforms, but will rely on domestic ones, Lavrov said. “We will continue to use their capabilities in our information work, but at the same time it is clear that only on our domestic online platforms can we rely completely reliably,” he said.
Lavrov also noted that the Foreign Ministry will actively support the companies Odnoklassniki and Rutube (similar Russian companies with Facebook and Youtube respectively).
