A lawyer, identified as Danilo Cerqueira de Santana, was found dead last Friday (18) in Prainha do Lobato, in Salvador (BA).
The man’s body was floating in the sea and had shot marks, according to information from the Bahia Civil Police.
Still in a statement, the PM reported that a team was called to remove the body and perform expertise.
In a statement issued on Sunday (20), the Bar Association of the State of Bahia (OAB-BA) regretted the death of Danilo.
“OAB Bahia profoundly regrets the death of lawyer Danilo Cerqueira de Santana, which took place last Friday (18), when she sympathizes with family, friends and mate,” he said.
The lawyer’s funeral is scheduled to take place this Monday (21), at 10am, at the Platform Municipal Cemetery, in Salvador.
The case is still under investigation by the 3rd Homicide Police Station (DH/BTS), which said the “circumstances, authorship and motivation” of death.
