The wife of lawyer José Lael de Souza Rodrigues Júnior, who was shot dead in an ambush at the end of last month, was arrested this Tuesday morning (12) in Aracaju (SE) on suspicion of involvement in the crime.
According to the Civil Police, four arrest and home search warrants were issued by the 5th Criminal Court of Aracaju, in the cities of Aracaju and Laranjeiras, related to the lawyer’s death.

How was the crime
On the night of October 18, lawyer José Lael de Souza Rodrigues Júnior, aged 42, was the victim of an ambush set up by individuals on a motorcycle and was shot dead inside his car. The crime occurred in the 13 de Julho neighborhood, in Aracaju.
During the attack, the lawyer’s son was also hit, but survived his injuries.
