The hallmark of coins will open on June 20.
Co-founder and CEO of LayerZero Labs Brian Pellegrino said that 1.28 million wallets qualified for the airdrop.
According to the final model, early transactions receive three times as many tokens. Those who interacted with LayerZero after the snapshot will receive an additional 10 ZRO per operation. For transfers without value, the distribution volume is reduced by 80%.
Pellegrino noted that the initiative to combat airdrop hunters, launched in early May, managed to return almost 10 million tokens to the community.
Some verified users shared their results with the head of LayerZero Labs.

According to Pellegrino, the team was unable to cut off all the Sybils from distribution. The developers plan to publish their final list on the eve of the token marking.
In April 2023, LayerZero Labs raised $120 million in a Series B funding round at a $3 billion valuation.
In December, the project team announced the airdrop without disclosing any details. CoinGecko experts included the LayerZero token distribution among the most anticipated in 2024.
