THE 30th Edition of Critics Choice Awards which recognizes the best achievements of cinema and television, takes place this Friday (7) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, United States. In Brazil, it will be possible to follow the award, with start forecast for 9 pm .
The event is organized by the largest association of US and Canada critics, and will elect the best titles of 2024. Live broadcast will be made by TNT TV channel and the Max streaming channel.
Previously, the event was scheduled for January 12, but was postponed after the fires in Los Angeles. Following, the ceremony was scheduled for January 26, but was postponed again.
The biggest nominees of this edition were “Conclave” and “Wicked” with 11 indications each. Already the Brazilian film “I’m still here” was remembered in the category of best foreign film.
As mentioned, the ceremony also recognizes the best works of television and among the nominees, stands out the Brazilian series “Senna”, which was mentioned in the category of best international series. Check out the full list of nominees.
Fernanda Torres, who was recently awarded the Golden Globe, does not compete for the best actress award at Critics Choice.
