Lebanon: Injuries in two Israeli strikes in the southern part

An Israeli strike against a vehicle injured three people today, including a 7-year-old child, in the southern Lebanese village of Mazdal Zoun, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced. Later today, one more person was wounded in a separate Israeli strike in Al Bishariyya, located near the southern city of Sidon, the ministry said. For its part, the Israeli military said it struck a Hezbollah facility in Sidon, where rocket launchers for the armed group were stored. It added that it also hit a vehicle in southern Lebanon loaded with anti-tank rocket launchers, ammunition and military equipment as part of its actions against ceasefire violations. A ceasefire came into effect on Wednesday, but both sides accuse each other of violating the terms of the truce, which aims to end more than a year of hostilities. Source: RES
