United States President Donald Trump is intensifying attacks on Harvard University and faculty after removing federal funding from the institution that rejected the political changes imposed by the Republican government.
Although Trump’s authorities stated that political changes aimed to combat anti -Semitism, the president’s attacks on a publication are mostly directed to the university, which hires people he considers “conscious” and “radical left” and teaches “hate and stupidity.”
“Harvard has hired almost all of those who are radical, idiots and ‘bird brains’, capable of teaching failure to students and the so -called ‘future leaders’,” the Republican wrote in a long publication on the Truth Social platform.
In the same post, Trump criticized the way Harvard dealt with former dean Claudine Gay, who resigned after plagiarism and anti-Semitism accusations, but is still a teacher of government and African and African-American studies.
“Just look at the recent past, the president [reitora] Their plagifier, which has embarrassed Harvard so much before the United States Congress. When the situation was so bad that they just couldn’t stand it anymore, they transferred this woman rudely inapplies to another position, that of teacher, instead of dismissing her on the spot, ”he wrote.
In the published text, the president continued:
“Many others, like these leftist idiots, are teaching Harvard and, because of this, Harvard can no longer be considered a decent place of learning and should no longer be included in any list of the best universities or colleges in the world. Harvard is a joke, teaches hatred and stupidity and should no longer receive federal funds,” he continued.
Trump also called the hiring of former New York mayor Bill, as a visiting researcher at the Harvard Policy Institute in 2022, of an example of how Harvard “lost his way.”
He included the admission of former Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, who became senior leadership researcher at Harvard Public Health in the fall of 2023, of an example of how Harvard “lost his way” in the same example.
