Leica Camera AG has unveiled a new lens for cameras of the Leica M system. The Leica APO-Summicron-M 35mm f / 2 ASPH lens, the first image of which appeared in February, according to the manufacturer, provides the same high image quality as its “legendary brother »Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f / 2 ASPH. The advantages of the new lens include a very popular focal length, “opening up new possibilities”, a short minimum focusing distance and almost complete correction of chromatic distortions.
