Leica has unveiled the Leica Q2 Daniel Craig x Greg Williams, which will be released in 750 units. According to the manufacturer, the new version of the Leica Q2 was created “in close collaboration with award-winning actor Daniel Craig and Greg Williams, one of the UK’s most renowned photographers.” It is stated that “both Craig and Williams have a common passion for photography and are both passionate fans of the Leica brand.”
Like previous limited edition Leica cameras, the Daniel Craig x Greg Williams Q2 is technically the same as the original model. This means that it is based on a combination of a 47.3 Mp full-frame sensor and a non-interchangeable Leica Summilux 28mm f / 1.7 ASPH lens. The differences from the original model are concentrated in the external design.
The camera is painted black, and only the engraving and some parts are golden. The set includes a genuine leather neck strap.
