Leica unveils exclusive Vans style camera: looks gorgeous

Today, November 19, the world-famous Leica company officially presented the unique Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee camera – a limited edition camera, which was created in collaboration with the Vans company and the famous American skater, musician and photographer Ray Barbie. It is worth recalling that the Vans company, of course, is also directly related to the world of skateboarding – it has been creating stylish clothes and shoes for street athletes in this direction for more than half a century, being almost the main symbol of this discipline.

The exclusive Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee camera instantly attracts attention with its unique design – the body is made in black and white with a check pattern, which is a reference to the Vans signature pattern. Also on the top panel of the camera you can see the autograph of Ray Barbka and the logo of the Vault company (the Vans sub-brand, which is responsible for the release of premium product lines and unique collaborations). Of course, there were some accessories – for this version, a shoulder strap and a fabric cover in dark green were created, they look very harmonious against the background of the main pattern.

At the same time, in technical terms, the exclusive version of the Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee does not differ from the original camera – the same enlarged matrix is taken as a basis, and the lens is a universal solution with a variable focal length of 24-75 mm (equivalent to 35 mm). Fortunately, an exclusive version of the camera will also be presented in Russia – you can buy the Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee for 127,075 rubles. In addition, Vans has also released themed T-shirts with quotes from Ray Barbie and Ernst Leitz II, plus a special edition sneaker – there is even a green checkered model.
