Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?
In an interview with CNN , the singer and actor Lenny Kravitz told that he already went to the wedding of an ex as his character Sean, from the movie “Armed Wedding”. “I’m still friends with people I dated before,” he said.
The feature debuts on Prime Video on January 27 and, in the plot, Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel gather family and friends in a wedding that goes wrong: criminals invade the island and take everyone hostage. If you love romantic comedy and action, the feature has both.
The strong cast also includes Brazilian actress Sônia Braga, who plays the mother of Jennifer Lopez, and Callie Hernandez, also known as “La La Land”, who told the CNN who already knew the work of the Brazilian.
“I love Sonia”, he exclaimed. “Me, Jennifer Coolidge, Lenny, Sonia, we all lived together and there was a screening room. And I kind of had Sonia show ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ to all of us,” she admitted.
Lenny, the part-time farmer
Believe it or not, Lenny Kravitz has a farm in the interior of Rio de Janeiro. However, he admitted that he doesn’t speak Portuguese: “I know some words, but I don’t speak them. Unfortunately I don’t go to Brazil often enough”.
Despite this, the artist says that the place is one of his favorites in the world. “I like to think of myself as a ‘farmer’, you know?” he said using the Portuguese word.
