The singer Leonardo, 61, was moved to honor his brother Leandro, who died in 1998. The moment happened during the countryman’s show at the festival’s farewell Buteco, by Gusttavo Lima, at the MorumBis stadium, in São Paulo.
At a certain point during Leonardo’s show, the image of his brother, who died of cancer at the age of 36, appeared on the stage screen and the artist could not contain his emotion.

The singer formed a successful country duo with Leandro, who became known for tracks such as “Entre Tapas e Beijos”, “Pense em Mim” and “Eu Juro”.
After his brother’s death, Leonardo pursued a solo career and usually pays tribute to him on special occasions.
In addition to Leonardo, the farewell to the Buteco festival, this Saturday (14), features shows by Maiara & Maraisa, João Bosco & Vinicius, and appearances by Paula Fernandes, Matogrosso & Mathias, Rick & Renner and Bruno & Denner.
