Leonor of Spain meets his mother Letizia in Panama: the most beautiful photos

The first meeting between Leonor of Spain and the mother Joy After four months. The queen flew to Panama To meet the firstborn, taking advantage of a Juan Sebastian de Elcano, the school ship of the Armada Española on which the nineteen year old has been embarked since last January.

For the sovereign it was a private journey, the same made by other family members of the 75 guardiamarina embarked on the ship. First the wait, at the port, then the smiles and the first touching embrace, followed by many moments of complicity between mother and daughter. The royal house has shared some photos of the meeting on its social channels, as well as those of the dinner that was held on board the ship on Sunday 3 May, the day of Mother’s Day in Spain, which has taken on an even more important meaning for the sovereign and for the firstborn.

In gala uniform (for the first time in public) Leonor exchanged with Letitia innumerable looks of understanding, finally gathered to the mother, even if only for a few hours. On May 5, the school ship will resume its journey: the next stages are the Colombia, Santo Domingo and New Yorklast foreign city before aiming again to Spain. Letizia will review her daughter in Cadiz, on July 21, and surely it will be a big party. After the summer, then, Leonor will leave the Navy to continue his military training in Murcia, home of the General Aeronautics Academy, as was the father Felipe before her.
