Letizia of Spain, again once, she proved that it doesn’t take much to transform the most essential and rigorous look into an outfit with an original touch.
The occasion was the inauguration of the new professional courses at the high school in the municipality of Castro-Urdiales, in Cantabria, where the Queen arrived showing off a ensemble casual chic, given by a practical black ankle-length cigarette trousers combined with a pair of sandals with a low, maxi heel, and a light blue, white-striped shirt with a wide cut.

The garment, a crop model, has a whimsical touch thanks to its singular neckline, which almost seems to be “cut” into a V, with the button line left intact almost to create a sort of tie. In short, a piece out of the ordinary and also out of the royal standards, notoriously accustomed to more traditional proposals albeit with some rare exceptions.

From Letizia Ortiz to Letizia of Spain: how the journalist who became queen (of style too) dressed twenty years ago
On her birthday we went to have a look at the photographs taken in the year in which the well-known face of Spanish television married Prince Felipe, realizing that, at the beginning, the royal had difficulty overcoming her status as a half-figure.

It is not the first time that Letizia of Spain has shown off one of the pieces from the special collection born from the collaboration between the designer and the Spanish brand. Already last May, a few days after the launch, the queen was spotted with a candid power suit signed by Beckham’s wife x Mango, demonstrating her appreciation for the bold creations.
The strawberry-colored top worn by the Queen on her last public outing? It doesn’t exist. Or rather, it was originally a dress, cleverly cut to give it a new life. The fashion art attack has been served

An appreciation that, apparently, seems to be mutual given that in a recent interview given to Vogue Spainthe English designer said of the royal: “She is my muse” amazed that she was wearing a dress – model Pretty in green – drawn by her. «I don’t know her personally, but I find her very beautiful and elegant» he added.
