Letizia of Spain, again once, she proved that it doesn’t take much to transform the most essential and rigorous look into an outfit with an original touch.
The occasion was the inauguration of the new professional courses at the high school in the municipality of Castro-Urdiales, in Cantabria, where the Queen arrived showing off a ensemble casual chic, given by a practical black ankle-length cigarette trousers combined with a pair of sandals with a low, maxi heel, and a light blue, white-striped shirt with a wide cut.
A shirt that, when you look closely, is anything but classic.. The garment, a crop model, has a whimsical touch thanks to its singular neckline, which almost seems to be “cut” into a V, with the button line left intact almost to create a sort of tie. In short, a piece out of the ordinary and also out of the royal standards, notoriously accustomed to more traditional proposals albeit with some rare exceptions.
Yet the shirt, a piece from the much-loved Victoria Beckham x Mango capsule collection that sold out in no time, had the desired effect: making the look more carefree, playful, out of the ordinary.
