A few hours before he died, digital influencer Lucas Alexandre Barros de Souza, 22, made a post on a social network celebrating his life. “Let’s live”, says the publication, accompanied by a clip with several photos of him. He had more than 500 thousand followers on Instagram.
Lucas died in the early hours of last Saturday (22) after overturning the car he was driving on a highway in Goiânia (GO). According to his mother, the influencer had just left an event.
Born in Goiânia, Lucas was in the penultimate semester of the veterinary medicine course. On his Instagram profile, he demonstrated his passion for animals, especially horses. The student also liked sports and posted photos at the gym and playing football.
The influencer was a fan of country music and posted several photos at events related to this type of music. In the post in which his mother, Sandra Nunes, announces Lucas’ death, singer Ana Castela commented with a crying emoji.
“Now there was only emptiness, his clothes and a lot of pain. I’m feeling a lot of pain, you have no idea how much it hurts,” said Sandra in a video. “He was a very blessed boy, very happy, the boy who only wanted the best for everyone, a boy with a big heart, the boy who never gave me trouble with anything,” she added.
In May, the influencer published a tribute to Sandra on Mother’s Day. “Just stopping by to say that I love you very much, and if I could choose, I would choose you another 10000000000000000 times. Happy Mother’s Day,” he wrote.
In December last year, Lucas posted a photo of the moment he bought a car, a Volkswagen Polo Track. There is no information as to whether this was the vehicle in which he crashed.
