After going to the market with the money told and realizing that prices have increased, she revolts and ends up infecting other customers. Everyone decides to take the products from the market and leave without paying as a protest.
The text is an adaptation of the play “non si paid! Non si paid!”, Written by Italian Dario Fo, in the 1970s. The original story tells the story of a people who decide to stop paying tax as a way to protest against corruption.
Dario Fo won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997.
