We have an evolution in the issue with the murder inside the cell of the notorious serial killer and California rapist, also known as “I-5 Strangler.”
Roger Kibbe, 81, died at the hands of his fellow prisoner, also convicted murderer Jason Budrow, a man with a “666” tattoo on his forehead.
Jason Budrow, 40, finally confessed to killing him serial killer restrained in a five-page letter, where he writes about his “mission” to avenge him on behalf of his victims.

“Ascension… May their souls go to paradise”, is the title of his letter, where he explains why he killed the 81-year-old on February 28 in the Mule Creek state prison.
Kibbe had raped and strangled at least seven women in the 1970s and 1980s. An autopsy showed that the serial killer had been strangled, thus ruling out the possibility of suicide, according to the local sheriff’s office which undertook the investigation.
Budrow, who went to jail for the murder of a woman, claimed responsibility in a letter explaining that he had been thinking of killing him since November 2020, spending months trying to get roommates in his cell.
The killer told the Bay Area News Group that he killed Kibbe by drowning the same day they were detained. In fact, he has been methodizing her for so long murder, wanting to mold him and accept to enter the same cell.

“My actions had a specific purpose,” he writes, “which began as a simple plan to kill a prisoner; it became a mission to avenge this young girl and all the victims of Roger Kibbe.”
He even claims that after the murder, he carved an “inverted pentacle” on his body. He wanted to make the murder ritual, says the man who allegedly had relations with satanic circles.
After the murder, Budrow believes, as he writes, that the souls of the Kibbe victims “have been released from their killer and I pray they can rest in peace.”
