#Lettersforpeace: your message for peace

In 1960 Gianni Rodari published this rhyme, to remember the need for union between peoples. Three years earlier the European Community had seen the light, which was born from the ashes of the Second World War: if we have enjoyed peace so far, on our continent, it is thanks to Europe, which has made us brothers and sisters, even if distant. Under all moons, that of Kiev and that of Rome. Today, however, the fear and horror of war have returned with all their might. But at the same time, that desire to remain united has also returned: not only the thousands of people fighting for their freedom and independence, but also those who took to the streets around the world are proof of this.
Because of this Vanity Fair today it means: let’s give peace a chance. We raise our voices to stop the war. We need all of you: send us a message, a video, a photo, a letter, an email, a voice, whatever you want. To share thoughts and feelings, not to be silent and ask for an end to the war.

You can do this in three ways: by publishing a photo or text, video or word on your social media profiles, tagging @vanityfairitalia and using the hashtag #lettersforpeace. Or, on Instragram, by sending a direct message to @vanityfairitalia. Finally, by writing us an email: [email protected].

Let’s do it now, together.
