The singer Lexa 29, was spotted strolling in the mall Village Mall in Barra da Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro this Monday (2), showing off her pregnant belly.
Lexa wore a low-cut black dress, and posed with her hand on her stomach.
In October, the artist announced her first pregnancy. The baby, who will be named Sofia, is the result of the Rio native’s engagement to actor Ricardo Vianna, 32.
At the beginning of November, Lexa opened up and revealed why she decided to wait to make her pregnancy public. Following Instagram Stories, the artist, who is in the second trimester of pregnancy, explained that she felt very scared and, therefore, decided to keep it a secret.
“A lot of people understood that I waited a while to tell them, but other people didn’t understand and said ‘wow, why weren’t you honest with us?’ (…) I found out months ago, but I didn’t tell anyone, I kept quiet. Because this beginning is very complicated. Anyone who is pregnant or has been pregnant knows how complex these first months are, we are very scared”, she declares.
Then, Lexa reveals that she was afraid of losing the baby. “It’s a very, very difficult phase. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so scared in my life, scared of losing… Wow, so scared.”
