Last month LG Electronics announced its first OLED monitor – the UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950 – with a 31.5-inch 4K screen. As you know, this monitor uses a JOLED printed panel.
LG and JOLED are planning to continue collaborating in this direction. LG Electronics will release a 27-inch OLED monitor later this year, according to new information. The new product will probably be called 27EP95.
Recall that JOLED (Japan OLED) was founded in August 2014 by Japan Display, Sony and Panasonic to release OLED displays using inkjet technology. In December 2017, it began commercial low-volume production of 21.6-inch 4K OLED panels on a 4.5-Gen pilot line. In 2020, JOLED began mass production of OLED displays using inkjet printing on a 5.5-Gen production line (1300 x 1500 mm substrate size) located in Japan.
