LG has launched a 16-inch LG Gram series monitor called the LG Gram +view 16MQ70. With the included stand, the LG Gram 16″ USB-C powered monitor weighs less than 1kg. This is a monitor that can be connected via a USB-C cable.
The new LG Gram +view 16MQ70 features a 16-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It differs from existing 15.6-inch monitors as it offers a WQXGA screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The LG Gram +view 16MQ70 has the same screen specifications as the 2022 LG Gram laptop.
The monitor itself weighs 670g and its Folio cover/stand weighs around 320g, bringing the total weight to 990g. LG Gram’s new new monitor has a fairly low refresh rate of 60Hz and a 30ms response time. Users can change the angle of the monitor.
The monitor has its own OSD, anti-glare screen coating, low blue light mode, 2 USB-C ports and brightness control. However, it does not have speakers.
The new LG Gram monitor will be available in Japan from mid-April. It will later appear in the US and other markets for $350.
