LG UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950 uses a third-party inkjet panel

LG Electronics recently announced the UltraFine OLED Pro Display 32EP950 with a 31.5-inch OLED screen and 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). Covering 99% of the Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 color spaces, the monitor is geared towards professional use.

JOLED announced yesterday that this monitor uses its printed OLED panel. LG and JOLED are planning to continue collaborating in this direction.

Recall that JOLED (Japan OLED) was founded in August 2014 by Japan Display, Sony and Panasonic to produce OLED displays using inkjet technology. In December 2017, it began commercial low-volume production of 21.6-inch 4K OLED panels on a 4.5-Gen pilot line. In 2020, JOLED began mass production of OLED displays using inkjet printing on a 5.5-Gen production line (1300 x 1500 mm substrate size) located in Japan.
