The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat reported, this Monday (20), that 21 people were detained for theft, robbery, reception, bodily harm, resistance and disobedience during the São Paulo LGBTQIA+ Pride parade, which took place on Sunday. (19). Also according to the secretary, 170 cell phones were recovered.
During the event, 2,000 military police had the support of 154 vehicles, distributed along the route in the center of São Paulo. Detainees and cell phones were taken to police stations in the area.
Victims who have had their cell phones stolen or stolen can look for the 3rd Police District, located at Rua Aurora nº 327, with an identification document and document proving possession of the device.
According to the São Paulo LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade Association, responsible for the organization, the event — which returned to a face-to-face format after two years — brought together about 4 million people in Paulista.
