The LG V70 smartphone has appeared in the AI Benchmark, which was created by the Zurich University of Technology to test the capabilities of smartphones in applications related to artificial intelligence.
The LG V70 smartphone passes under the model number LG LM-V700N and is codenamed LG Rainbow. The tested sample was equipped with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, 8 GB of RAM and was running the Android 11 operating system.
The LG V70 has the best result of any Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone, second only to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Huawei Mate 40 Pro +, as well as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 prototype, which comes with 12GB of RAM.
Results like these indicate that its firmware is almost final, and the device itself is already ready for release.
Yesterday it was reported that the LG V70 may go on sale in May-June before the closure of the company’s mobile division.
As a reminder, LG will update some smartphones to Android 12 after the closure of its mobile division.
