Liam Gallagher, from Oasis, publishes that “big announcement” is about to happen

The singer Liam Gallagher one of the members of the Oasis used his account on X, (formerly Twitter) to make a mysterious post this Saturday (16). “Big announcement coming,” he wrote to his more than three million followers on the social network.

In the post, which has already received more than 27 thousand likes, several fans speculated about the possible news. Among the most popular comments is one in a joking tone: “Are you guys breaking up again?”, alluding to the band’s separation, which lasted for 15 years.

Other internet users also suggested a new album, partnerships with other artists and even announcing opening acts for the British group’s new tour.

In August, the British rock band announced a return to the stage with a tour for 2025, which will mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?”

At the beginning of this month, the duo announced that they will perform two shows in Brazil, at the Morumbis Stadium, located in the south of the city of São Paulo. The presentations will take place on November 22nd and 23rd, 2025 and tickets are already sold out.

This will be the band’s first time in Brazil in 16 years, as the last time the owners of hits such as “Wonderwall” and “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” visited the country in 2009. On that occasion, they sang in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Curitiba.

The duo, who made their debut in 1994 with “Definitely Maybe”, split in 2009 when guitarist and main songwriter Noel Gallagher said he could no longer work with Liam, the singer, after a series of disagreements between the two.
