A man threw tart in the person of the leader of the liberal party of Wallonia MR, Georges-Louis Boucher while signing his new book in a Liège shop in Belgium.
In the video that is circulating, a young man can be seen who asks Bouchet to take a photo with him and, while his father is heading behind the politician, takes out a tart and throws it in his face. Immediately, he is immobilized by the bystanders. Georges-Louis Boucher then smeared the tart on the man, who was on the ground.
The incident happened around 11.30 in the morning. The father and his son waited in line for about 30 minutes.
“Someone was smart enough to throw me a tart,” Bouchet said in a video he posted on social media.
“Pity, because it looked like a delicious pie. I already tasted it. After the incident, I wanted to talk to him. Maybe they weren’t on the same page politically. There was certainly no question of revenge. I always want to confront someone, but never violently.” completed.
