How is the life of Carlo Verdone when is he away from the set? To explain it to us is the director himself in a series, Life as a Carlo, in 10 episodes in which Verdone plays Carlo, revealing for the first time his most intimate sphere, made up of a small circle of acquaintances, and from the beginning of a love that has as its frame the place to which Verdone is most fond of in the world : the neighborhood pharmacy.
The series, consisting of 10 episodes of thirty minutes each, written by Verdone himself together with Nicola Guaglianone, Menotti, Pasquale Plastino, Ciro Zecca, Luca Mastrogiovanni, plays on verisimilitude using the director’s creative flair, capable of creating a series of characters who have always had some peculiarity in common.
The cast is very rich, which is also involved among others Max Tortora, Anita Caprioli, Monica Guerritore, Antonio Bannò, Claudia Potenza, Andrea Pennacchi.
