Born from two privatizations and some mergers carried out in Paraná, Ligga Telecom, despite being young, is considered one of the largest in the telecommunications sector in Brazil.
The company is now preparing for new challenges: after being one of the winners of the 5G auction held by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), Ligga is no longer local, to serve about 46% of the population throughout the national territory, operating in Paraná, São Paulo and throughout the northern region of the country.
🇧🇷5G is much more than people even realize”, says Wendell Oliveira, President of Ligga Telecom. 🇧🇷I often say that 4G has changed people’s lives and 5G will change, in a very significant way, the lives of companies. With more speed, more stability and, above all, with less latency.🇧🇷
To help in the Ligga Telecom expansion process, financial partners are essential.
🇧🇷The Telecom business is CAPEX intensive. In other words, it takes a lot of investment. We have partnerships with financial institutions, especially Banco Master, which has been a very close partner and helps us a lot”, says Oliveira.
Innovation is an essential part of the telecommunications business, so Ligga’s eyes are on the future.
🇧🇷We recently launched a program called Plug In, open to startups from all over the world to sign up to be part of the Ligga community. They are divided into some segments that we consider the most important for 5G: agro, logistics, health care (medicine), industries and smart cities. The 5G universe is just beginning. There’s already a lot of good stuff, but there’s a lot of good stuff yet to come and we’re going to bring”, says Oliveira.
