1913: The famous American dancer, Isidora Duncan, is informed of the tragic death of her children in a car accident and immediately announces that she is suspending all her performances indefinitely.
1914: The National Guard of the state of Colorado opened fire on striking miners in the city of Landlow, resulting in the death of 17 people, including the Greek trade unionist, Louis Tikas. It was one of the bloodiest attacks by employers and the state on the US trade union movement.
1920: Start of the 7th Antwerp Olympic Games (the 6th never took place due to war). First appearance of the flag with the five Olympic cycles and first recitation of the Olympic Anthem. A black spot of the event is the exclusion of the states that were defeated in the war (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria), as the spirit of the struggles does not want discrimination due to political differences.
1923: The Metropolitan of Iconium, Prokopios Lazaridis, dies in Zinjindere of Caesarea, becoming the fifth high priest witness in Asia Minor during the Greek Genocide, after Chrysostomos of Smyrna, Gregory of Kydonia, Ambrosius of Moschonis.

1926: The Panthessaloniki Athletic Club of Constantinople (PAOK) is founded by Constantinople refugees in Thessaloniki.

2013: A magnitude 6.6 earthquake shakes China’s Sichuan province, killing at least 150 people and injuring thousands more.
2015: With 44 defendants present in court, out of 69, the proceedings were heard and the trial began, before the Three-Member Criminal Court of Appeal for the Golden Dawn case. The leader of the organization and the majority of the accused deputies did not appear in court.
2020: The jersey with the signature of the protagonist of Eurobasket 1987 Nikos Galis is auctioned instead of 8,500 euros, achieving a record for sports auctions in Greece.
2021: Former police officer Derek Sowin is found guilty of all charges in the murder of George Floyd. His sentence will be announced on June 16.
2021: After mass protests from UEFA, FIFA, national clubs and fans, all 6 Premier League teams involved in the project: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Manchester United Super League, while the president of Barcelona, Juan Laporta, states that the club will not participate in the proposed event.
