The last song that Lil Jolie wanted to release has a clear, immediate title: Rules. Yet, the artist from Campania, with rules and duties, has never had an easy relationship. “I’ve never been a person who loves to follow the rules,” she admitted, recounting how “Since I was a child I was scolded for being a little too exuberant, never to adapt to the context. In adolescence, however, I had to repress the person I was for a while by putting myself on the back burner.

Growing up I think I would never do it again for any reason “and, perhaps, no person. Lil Jolie, who wanted to recreate a vintage atmosphere in the video, chose Carl Brave to sing his own anthem. «In addition to having a lot of respect for him, on an artistic and human level, I find it perfect for this piece. We expected to shoot the video clip on a sunny day, but I admit that the climatic contrast created in the video made it even more interesting.
