Lindsay Lohan drew attention to Bitcoin and her NFT token

Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan created a non-fungible token (NFT) called Lightning and sold it at Rarible.

Initially, the token was purchased by a user under the nickname Loopify for 10 Wrapped ETH ($ 17,360). An hour later, he was bought by a certain “Mr. Lohan” for 33 ETH ($ 57,290).

At the time of writing, the owner of the token has put it up for sale for 39.69 ETH (over $ 70,000).

Part of the resale proceeds will be returned to the actress, who intends to donate them to “charities that accept bitcoin.”

Lindsay Lohan drew attention to her NFT token on February 10 with a tweet about the “native of bitcoin”.

“Bitcoin is the future. I believe in the world of decentralized finance and the power of dreams that lies at the heart of the human Lightning network, ”says the description of the token on the trading platform.

In the comments, subscribers corrected Lohan by pointing out that NFT tokens are issued on the Ethereum blockchain, not Bitcoin. They also explained that the Lightning Network solution is primarily intended to scale the first cryptocurrency network.

At the end of January, developer Topps Digital issued 18 cards in the form of NFT tokens featuring Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont in mittens. His photo became a meme after Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The creator of the animated series “Rick and Morty” Justin Royland sold his debut collection of NFT-cryptoart for 1,300 ETH (about $ 1.65 million).
