We are in Naples (even if most of the scenes were shot in old Taranto), 1930s, Luigi Alfredo Ricciardi from the Royal Police Headquarters of Naples he is a man in one piece. Very elegant, fascinating, but solitary by imposition and choice: due to the curse inherited from his mother he sees the ghost of people who have died in a violent way and listens to their last thought. To mess up the self-imposed order, a curl which falls on his forehead and escapes the “grease” which makes the rest of the hair immobile, e two women: one – very shy – looking out of the window (Maria Vera Ratti), and the other – powerful and handicapped – breaking into her path (Serena Iansiti).
