A member of the British Parliament from the Scottish National Party announced that the government of the United Kingdom pays too little attention to the development of blockchain technologies and the training of qualified specialists in this field.

Lisa Cameron has publicly complained that employers are having difficulty finding qualified employees to match the demand for jobs at cryptocurrency and blockchain companies.

“The UK has significant potential and talent to develop the digital economy. However, the government will need to invest heavily in talent, education, training and skills development to become a technology superpower,” Cameron said.

The parliamentarian asked the government to establish closer partnerships with blockchain companies, for example, large international market representatives like Ripple, Circle or Tether, which have launched their own educational initiatives.

Previously, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) drew the attention of bloggers and representatives of advertising companies that when publishing any images or symbols related to cryptocurrency, they must obtain prior approval from the agency.
