In his new memoir, Lisa Marie Presley daughter of Elvis Presley revealed that he suffered abuse from the actor and model michael edwards one of his mother Priscilla Presley’s boyfriends, when he was just 10 years old. The work, titled “From Here to the Great Unknown” was launched on Tuesday (8). The information comes from the North American magazine People.

Priscilla dated Michael from 1974 until 1980. In the book, Lisa writes that one day, at 10, “she woke up and found him on his knees next to my bed, running his finger up my leg under the sheets, and if I moved, he stopped — then I moved.”
She went on to describe that Edward told her he “would teach me what would happen when I got older.” Furthermore, he allegedly placed his hand between her legs and “kissed her gently” before leaving the room.
In the work, obtained by People, Lisa said that she recounted the moment to her mother, who made Michael Edwards apologize to the little girl. “He said, ‘I’m sorry, but in Europe that’s how they teach kids, so that’s what I was doing.’ I didn’t know what to say. I always felt bad for him when he apologized. Eventually he would touch me and hit me, telling me not to look — ‘Don’t look at me,’ he would say, ‘don’t turn your head.’ I assume he was masturbating.”
At other times, when he tried to touch her, Lisa reported that Priscilla made up excuses such as him being drunk.
Lisa Marie Presley died in January 2023, aged 54, due to complications from previous surgery. The book, started by herself, was finished by Riley Keough, her daughter.
The book “From Here to the Great Unknown” does not yet have a release date in Brazil.
