The NATO-led Enhanced Battalion in the country should be reduced to “at least” the size of a brigade, and air defense should be improved, Lithuanian President Gitana Nauseda said.

Nauseda also called for the reinforcement of the Suwalki Corridor, a narrow strip of land between Belarus and the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, which is the only land connection between the Baltic and the rest of the European Union.
