Little Nivin from Gaza underwent an open heart surgery in Jordan – they have been back in hell a few days later

In an improvised scene in the Al – Saty refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip, 33 -year -old Abu Daga holds her tiny infant, Nivin. A fan strikes them permanently to “break” the morning heat somewhat. One is worried that the health of the little Nivin can at any time get worse. As her mother explains, she is only seven months old and was born during the war with a hole in the heart. She explains that she fought a real battle to keep her daughter alive despite the collapse of the Gaza Health System. “The war was very tough for her,” one tells the BBC. “She didn’t get any weight at all and she really gets sick very easily,” her mother says.
