The Commissioner Ricciardi he has a gift and a curse to guide him, that of hearing the thoughts of people who have died in a violent way. This is why the Neapolitan inspector of Italy in the 1930s – born from the novels of Maurizio de Giovanni and now on Rai Uno directed by Alessandro D’Alatri – keeps love away. “He considers it a threat,” he told us Linen Pillow who plays it, «She is terrified of transmitting this ‘gift’ to a child, therefore she is afraid of reproducing herself and keeps the female world away».
From love, however, there is no escape. And, despite Ricciardi doing everything to avoid it, he will end up being divided between two women: Enrica (Maria Vera Ratti), the shy teacher who “spies” from the window, and the elegant one Livia (Serena Iansiti), which he got to know during his first investigation.
