Renato Aragão’s daughter, actress Lívian Aragão, was having fun at Farofa da Gkay when she found out that her father was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering a transient ischemic attack (TIA). She left the event and went to meet her father at the hospital.
“I took the first flight between Farofa and Rio to see my father”, she explained in a post on her Instagram profile.
The actress is with her father in the hospital and said in a story on her profile on the social network that the comedian is fine. Aragão, who is 87 years old, used his Instagram profile on Wednesday night to reassure the public about his health status.
“Girls, I’m fine. Do not worry. I’m doing very well. Kiss”, said the artist in a video.
The press office for the humorist says that Aragão was taken to Hospital Samaritano Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro, after “feeling a slight discomfort at home” and that he remained under observation throughout the day, “as is customary in cases like this”.
“The actor is under neurological surveillance during the entire time of his stay in the hospital, reporting that he was very well attended and monitored, always with great affection and attention from the entire medical team”, says a note sent by the artist’s advisory.
“The family appreciates the attention received at the venue and the expressions of affection from all fans in Brazil that were received”, informed the note.
